I’m Dorin, founder of Photogenix, and I specialize in wedding photography. Based in Voluntari, I work with couples across the Bucharest–Ilfov area who want more than just “pretty pictures”: they want true memories built from naturally captured emotions. Wedding photography is my main focus — careful, discreet documentary work combined with a sense of composition that draws from a background in business and branding. My approach blends the honesty of documentary moments with an editorial aesthetic: I don’t stage scenes, I observe what happens and choose a clean frame, real light and compositions that make each image work on its own and within the context of the album. I believe the best photographs appear when people are themselves — that’s why I aim to be present but unobtrusive, respecting the pace of the day and your privacy. Collaboration starts with an honest conversation: I listen to what matters to you, we define the visual direction for the day and we sort the essential details. Throughout the day I guide you with simple, natural suggestions rather than forced scenarios; I apply the same approach to engagement sessions, Save the Date shoots or Trash the Dress sessions — shoots that complement the story and provide editorial images for albums and keepsakes. Photogenix puts emphasis on trust, calm and attention to detail. Every photo is carefully edited to preserve the tone and emotion of the moment, not to homogenize or oversaturate reality. As part of my wedding packages I also offer optional video and aerial drone filming where permitted — services offered as a complementary option, not as a replacement for my core photographic expertise.
