I’m Claudiu Dumitrescu and since 2010 I have turned a family-inherited passion into wedding photography that becomes more than just memories. As a wedding photographer based in Targu Jiu, my approach is simple and sincere: everything starts from the heart, passes through the mind and the eye, and is translated into the image. I believe wedding photography should be artistic, emotional, and above all, authentic. My style blends documentary observation with careful composition — I look for that “something” that makes the difference: a look, a gesture, the light that surprises you. I work to capture natural moments rather than staged scenes; my photos aim to tell a coherent story of your day. Professionalism and attention to detail are paired with genuine personal involvement: the human connection with the couple and their family matters to me, and you’ll feel that in the results. How do we work? Before the wedding we get to know each other — we discuss expectations, locations, and the moments that are important to you. On the wedding day I strive to be present without being intrusive, discreetly coordinating frames while letting the event unfold naturally. After the event, I carefully edit each image to preserve emotion and artistic quality: colours, contrast and composition are refined so the photographs endure over time. I specialize in wedding photography — this is my main area of expertise. In addition to wedding coverage, I can provide complementary services on request such as video filming, aerial drone footage, and family photo sessions designed to complete your visual story. I don’t present these options as replacements but as harmonious additions to the documentation of your event.
