I’m Marian Cristea and documentary wedding photography is how I tell stories of love. I work from Sector 2, Bucharest, and over more than 16 years I have developed a style focused on authenticity, discretion and honest emotion. I work in a documentary style — I won’t pause the natural flow of the event to create a “perfect” shot. Instead, I stay attentive to where life actually happens. My approach is simple: discretion and empathy. I usually photograph alone, which allows me to remain unobtrusive and capture sincere reactions. If your wedding has more than 160 guests or you want broader coverage, I recommend and can provide a second photographer to preserve the event’s dynamics. I promise that at your wedding I will give every last bit of energy to deliver images that let you relive the day with the same intensity. How do we work together? I communicate honestly and openly from our very first conversation: I like to know the people behind the event, not just the logistics. At our meeting we’ll talk about what defines you and what you truly want from your wedding photos. On the wedding day I stay close but not intrusive — my small style exceptions (for example, a portrait with grandparents) reflect respect for what truly matters. Besides wedding photography, I offer engagement sessions that complement your visual story and are useful for getting to know each other before the big day. My style remains the same: authentic, warm and people-centered.
